In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. One of the misconceptions about Islam is that it restricts Muslims from enjoying life. This mistaken concept is the result of Islamophobia and the propaganda that aims to distort this great religion. The student of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, knows with certainty that Islam allows Muslims to enjoy life and that this enjoyment should serve the interests of the individual and the community. If harm or injustice results from this enjoyment, then it is prohibited. For example, Islam allows all drinks except for alcoholic beverages because they harm individuals and society, causing serious illnesses, traffic accidents, crimes, and disputes among community members. Islam encourages Muslims to get married and forbids adultery because it harms people\'s dignity, wastes women\'s time and health, and affects their lineage. We can see that Islam preserves people\'s right to fully enjoy life as long as it does not harm them. Let us look at some Quranic verses that clearly indicate this principle. Allah says: \"O messengers, eat from the good things and do righteous deeds. Indeed, I am Knowing of what you do.\" (23:51) He also says: \"And eat and drink, but be not excessive.\" (7:31) And He says: \"And do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters.\" (28:77) Allah also says: \"So marry the women who please you, two or three or four.\" (4:3) And He says: \"Say, \'Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation. Indeed Allah, over all things, is competent.\'\" (29:20) And He says: \"So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. And to your Lord direct your longing.\" Indeed, Allah sent Islam to make people happy, to reform their societies, to facilitate their affairs, and to ease their burdens. The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said, \"Make things easy and do not make them difficult. Give glad tidings and do not cause people to run away.\" May Allah bestow peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.

❞ 🖋️ Mahmoud Omar Mohamed Juma... The Writer Who Saved for a Dream and Shared It Freely
By: A Reader Who Believes in the Word
In a time when value is measured by the number of copies sold, and dreams are reduced to publishing house profits, the Jordanian writer Mahmoud Omar Mohamed Juma emerged from the crowd carrying a single idea: that a free word cannot be bought, and that literature born from pain should never carry a price tag.
The road before him was not paved, and no doors were opened for him—yet he did not retreat. For two full years, he saved—not just from his pocket, but from his heart—to afford the printing of his first book. He sought no funding, stretched no hand, only believed that a dream is worth waiting for, and that those who write with honesty need no intermediaries between them and their readers.
And when the dream was finally in his hands, he did not sell the book. He published it for free. He distributed it like one might give away roses, as if to say: “These are my words, this is my gift—take them, and allow me only to be a part of your memory.”
He is no ordinary writer; he is a messenger. He didn’t write to top bestseller lists, but to offer hope in a world where giving has become rare. He taught us that the greatest triumphs begin in solitude, and that those who endure hunger for the sake of their ideas feed many souls with their words.
In his silence, there is strength.
In his solitude, wonder.
And in his books—a window for those suffocated by the world.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
A Muslim should know that the true life has not yet begun. The real life is in Paradise, an eternal life without death, afflictions, or misery. It is a life filled with joy and happiness. As for our current life in this world, it is merely a test. We will find out the results of this test on the Day of Judgment, which will be a life filled with hardship and problems, with only a limited amount of enjoyment. The duration of this worldly life is short and will not exceed a hundred years or slightly more. Approximately half of this time is spent sleeping, and the rest is mostly occupied with work, toil, and suffering. This incomplete and unsatisfying life does not fulfill the aspirations of a human being.
Therefore, it is important for a person to understand the wisdom of Allah in creating them and to focus on how to succeed in the greatest test, which is the Day of Judgment, in order to attain eternal life and everlasting bliss. The way to succeed in this test is explained in the Quran, which Allah has revealed, and through the sending of prophets. All you need to do is to study the Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and act upon their guidance. By doing so, Insha Allah, you will be among the successful and prosperous on the Day of the Great Presentation.
It is crucial for a person to avoid the most dangerous factor that leads them to failure on the Day of Judgment, which is excessive love for this worldly life, belittling the importance of the Hereafter, and neglecting to rectify their relationship with Allah. Attachment to worldly desires causes a person to disregard their responsibility to their Lord and neglect to contemplate their future after death.
May Allah grant us success and guide us on the right path. Amen.
