❞Dr Moustafa H.A. Moharm is a Professor of Plant Pathology at Plant Pathology Dept., Faculty of Agriculture, Sohag University, Egypt. He had completed his PhD in 2010 from Minia University, Egypt cooperation with JKI, Institute for Biological Control, Darmstadt, Germany, in the Channel system program scholarship from 2006-2008. In addition, he spent six months in the same institute for post-doctoral research. He had published three international books and more than 22 papers in reputed and impacted journals and served as an editorial board member and reviewer of several journals in Plant Pathology and related fields. He also shared in more than 12 international conferences in Germany, Belgium, and Bosnia. He obtained the award of Sohag University for the best site of the university staff in 2016; award of Sohag University for the best Scientist in Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences in 2017; Sohag University candidate for the State Awards for Academic Excellence for the year 2018. He lectures Plant Pathology, integrating a range of control measures (cultural, physical, biological, chemical) to manage fungal pathogens in cropping and conservation areas. His research interest is specifically in fungal Plant Pathology, the study of plant disease processes on vital crops, the fungi that cause them, the fungal disease diagnosis, and the development of strategies for their management. Currently, he is developing a great work utilizing molecular techniques to improve the understanding of plant pathogenic processes caused by smut fungi on sorghum.❝
