I am the original translator of this book into Arabic. My complete translation was published in 2016, a full nine years before your publication. A comparison between my 2016 translation and your 2025 publication shows that your book is a direct copy of my work.
This action constitutes a clear infringement of my copyright as the translator. Under both Egyptian and international copyright law, the translator holds the rights to their translation as a derivative work. You have used my intellectual property without my knowledge, permission, or providing any credit or compensation. This act also constitutes plagiarism.
I demand that you take the following actions immediately:
1. Immediately cease all further printing, distribution, and sale of your 2025 book.
2. Provide a full accounting of all copies sold and all profits made from the unauthorized use of my translation.
3. Compensate me financially for the unauthorized use of my work. I am entitled to all profits derived from your publication, as well as damages for this infringement.
4. Formally acknowledge my work by removing your edition and/or including a clear statement in any future corrected editions that the translation is originally mine.
Please respond to this letter within 14 days to resolve this matter amicably. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will be forced to pursue all available legal remedies to protect my rights. This includes filing a lawsuit to claim financial compensation and protect my moral rights as the author of this translation.
I have attached evidence of my original 2016 publication for your reference.
